Clinical Hypnotherapist and Coach
Bring Your Best When It Matters Most
If you've ever walked away from an important opportunity feeling like you could have done better, you're not alone.
Whether you're preparing for a presentation, competition, job interview, leadership opportunity, sales conversation, or important life event, pressure has a way of changing how we think and perform.
Many people become distracted, second-guess themselves, or lose confidence at exactly the moment they most want to succeed.
Hypnosis can help you develop greater focus, confidence, and mental resilience so you can perform closer to your actual capabilities. The goal isn't perfection: it is helping you access more of the strengths, skills, and preparation you already possess.
Most people have experienced a situation where they knew exactly what to do, but struggled to perform at their best in the moment. Perhaps you become nervous before a presentation, lose confidence during an important interview, feel pressure before a competition, or find yourself overthinking when the stakes are high. While you may have the skills, preparation, and experience necessary to succeed, pressure can sometimes interfere with your ability to access them consistently.
Peak performance is about more than talent or knowledge. Confidence, focus, emotional resilience, and mindset all play an important role in how we perform. This is why two people with similar abilities can have very different results when faced with the same challenge.
Hypnosis helps you access the subconscious mind—the part of you that influences many of your automatic thoughts, emotional responses, habits, and beliefs. In a relaxed and focused state, you can begin to identify and change patterns that contribute to self-doubt, performance anxiety, distraction, or inconsistent results.
Hypnosis for peak performance is not about becoming someone different. Instead, it helps you develop the mental habits that allow you to perform closer to your actual capabilities. Many clients find they are able to stay more focused, feel more confident, manage pressure more effectively, and perform with greater consistency.
I often work with athletes, professionals, business owners, leaders, speakers, and job seekers who want to improve their performance in situations that matter to them. Together, we explore what may be getting in the way and create new patterns that support confidence, focus, and success.
As a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, I combine hypnosis with coaching, practical tools, and thoughtful conversation. My goal is not simply to help you perform better once, but to help you develop skills and habits that support long-term growth and achievement.

Improve focus, confidence, mental toughness, and consistency.

Overcome self-doubt and access a more confident, creative state.

Manage stress related to work, leadership, interviews, presentations, career transitions, and professional uncertainty.

Feel calm, confident, and fully present in front of an audience.
Many people who struggle with performance already know what they should be doing. They may tell themselves to stay calm, be confident, stop overthinking, or focus on the task at hand, only to find that doubt, anxiety, or distraction continues to show up. That's because many of the thoughts and emotional responses that influence performance operate at a subconscious level, often before the conscious mind has a chance to intervene.
Hypnosis works by helping you access the subconscious mind in a relaxed and focused state. In this state, it becomes easier to identify and change the patterns that contribute to performance anxiety, self-doubt, fear of failure, perfectionism, and other obstacles that can interfere with success. Rather than fighting against yourself, you can begin creating new responses that support confidence, focus, and resilience.
Many clients find that hypnosis helps them:
- Improve focus and concentration
- Feel calmer in high-pressure situations
- Reduce performance anxiety and nervousness
- Strengthen confidence and self-belief
- Improve public speaking and presentation skills
- Prepare for interviews, competitions, and important opportunities
- Recover more quickly from mistakes and setbacks
- Develop greater consistency in their performance
My approach combines clinical hypnosis, coaching, and practical strategies for improving performance in real-world situations. Together, we explore what may be limiting your performance and create new patterns that support success, confidence, and growth.
The goal is not to eliminate every challenge or create a life without pressure. Pressure is often part of pursuing meaningful goals. Instead, hypnosis can help you respond differently—feeling more focused, more confident, and more capable of performing at your best when it matters most.
When confidence, focus, and preparation begin working together, peak performance often becomes less about pushing harder and more about getting out of your own way.

Michelle has really helped me up my tennis game. I went to her trying to calm my nerves for matches as well as to uplevel my forehand. Michelle’s work has helped me immensely on both. Do try it - hypnosis really works, and thru her work, you can learn how to get to that relaxed and grounded state on your own.

With Michelle's guidance, I was able to unlock and understand memories and experiences from my childhood that have influenced my adult life in ways no other therapist has ever managed to do. Her work has been transformative, helping me break down the barriers that were holding me back from reaching my full potential.

Do elite athletes really use hypnosis and mental performance training?
Yes. At the highest levels of sport, mental preparation is considered just as important as physical training. Olympic and professional athletes routinely use techniques such as visualization, mental rehearsal, sports psychology, and mindset training to improve focus, confidence, and performance under pressure. Hypnosis can be a valuable tool for developing many of these same mental skills.
Can hypnosis help with job interviews and career success?
Yes. Many people use hypnosis to improve confidence, reduce anxiety, and perform better in interviews, presentations, leadership roles, and other high-stakes professional situations. In addition to my work as a hypnotherapist, I am also the author of An Alignment of Spirit: Finding Work You Love, a book on creating new career opportunities and helping people move toward meaningful work.
What if I can't be hypnotized?
Most people can experience hypnosis when they are willing to participate and open to the process. Hypnosis is not mind control or unconsciousness—it's a natural state of focused attention and concentration. Throughout the session, you remain aware of what is happening and can choose whether or not to follow suggestions. In fact, many people are surprised to discover they have already experienced hypnosis during activities like driving, reading a book, or becoming absorbed in a movie. If you can focus your attention, you can likely benefit from hypnosis.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies depending on your goals and circumstances. Some clients notice meaningful changes after just a few sessions, while others choose ongoing support as they work toward larger personal or professional goals.
