Ready to feel, think or respond differently?

Hypnotherapy can help you change patterns that haven't responded to willpower, logic or simply trying harder.

I help clients build confidence, overcome fears, improve performance, change habits, manage stress, let go of the past and more.

Sometimes knowing what you want to change isn't enough.

You can consciously know that flying is safe, that you're capable of speaking confidently, or that a habit isn't helping you — and still find yourself reacting in the same old way.

Hypnotherapy uses focused attention, relaxation, imagery and suggestion to help you work with those automatic patterns differently.

You remain aware and in control throughout the process.

What would you like to change?

People come to hypnotherapy for all kinds of reasons. Here are some of the areas I commonly help with:

Confidence & Self-Esteem

Feel more comfortable speaking up, taking action and trusting yourself.

Fears & Phobias

Flying, insects and other fears that are getting in the way of your life.

Performance

Sports, public speaking, professional performance, focus and mental preparation.

Habits & Motivation

Procrastination, hair pulling, unwanted habits and following through on what you want to do. Improve sleep patterns, quiet a busy mind, and develop a more restful nighttime routine.

Stress & Anxiety

Help your mind and body respond differently when life gets demanding.

Relationships & Letting Go

Move forward from experiences and relationships you're ready to put behind you.

Don't see your goal here?

Hypnosis can be useful for many different kinds of change. Let's talk about what you'd like to accomplish and whether hypnotherapy may be a good fit.

Questions About Hypnotherapy

Will I lose control during hypnosis?+

No. You remain aware and in control. Hypnosis isn't mind control, and you can't be made to do something against your will.

What does hypnosis feel like?+

Most people experience hypnosis as a comfortable state of focused attention and relaxation. There's no single way you're supposed to feel, and you don't have to be unconscious or "out" for hypnosis to be effective.

How many sessions will I need?+

That depends on what you'd like to change. I commonly work with clients in packages of several sessions, and we'll discuss what I recommend during your consultation.

Can I work with you online?+

Yes. I work with clients both in my Pleasant Hill office and online.
